•my love of art and design began long before I ever picked up a jeweller’s saw

•after earning my bachelor of fine arts honours degree from the university of victoria, I spent years exploring creativity through a variety of mediums, always drawn to the relationship between beauty, craftsmanship and storytelling

•it wasn’t until a friend introduced me to seaglassing that the idea of silversmithing took hold

•fascinated by the history, colours and shapes of these glowing treasures, I set out to learn how to create settings worthy of the pieces I was finding

•with no formal training in jewellery making, I taught myself the craft through curiosity, persistence, and the refusal to accept “you can’t do that” as a possibility

•today my work incorporates seaglass, art glass, gemstones, fossils, amber and other natural materials sourced through my own shoreline adventures, trades with collectors around the world, trusted local suppliers, and, often the treasured pieces brought to me by my clients
